“I’m a sucker for fine detailing and couture-level detailing. Fashion Art Toronto’s “Couture” Day- Day 5 featured a lot of designers who are masters of the art of the atelier, but I was particularly struck by the work of Toronto designer Marie Copps. Her choices of colours and fabrics are unmatched, but it’s her head pieces – crafted with careful elegance usually reserved for French Fashion Houses, that steal the show. If you’re looking for the “high fashion” wow (which I of course am) – this is the show for you.”

"The last night at the Fashion Art Toronto on April 16 was dedicated to HAUTE CULTURE. Unique and exclusive clothing items with the highest standards led the fashion show at Daniels Spectrum. The finale walk of FAT belonged to Marie Copps, who showcased fashion pieces that were true artworks on the runway. She’s a Queen was my favourite collection of the whole FAT.”

“As both a visual artist and fashion designer, it’s no surprise Marie Copps’ collection teemed with elaborate pieces and the highest attention to detail. An eye-popping yellow dress with gold embellishments was topped off with a shawl of white flowers.”
