“I think it’s about time Toronto gets more fashion events like this.”
The captivating footage you’re about to watch features strong Canadian talent you might recognize. These amazing individuals are as thrilled as we are about this new and unique event concept! Frank Cini, well-known, award-winning Canadian hairdresser, has worked with Marie Copps on multiple projects, says, “[I] love working with a team to create great photos and video. [I] admire Marie’s designs and the opportunity to collaborate.” Cini predicts that “this is event will be a great source of inspiration for fashion designers, hairstylists, make-up artists, and anyone that enjoys fashion”.
Remarkable make-up artist, Milli Thiso, agrees that Fashion Shoot Extravaganza will be outstanding. She tells us, “I think it’s about time Toronto gets more fashion events like this. Canada has so much talent, but we don’t have the resources to showcase it. I think what Marie [Copps] is doing is going to give so many people so much opportunity to showcase their talents as well. Her vision will serve so many others as well put Toronto back into fashion again!”
The ever talented Steel Hammer Productions captured video shots, and gifted photographer, Natasha Gerschon, was the head photographer on set. Gerschon comments on working with Marie Copps on the Fashion Shoot Extravaganza video shoot and says, “working with Marie is always a pleasure, she is extremely knowledgeable in fashion and has a special eye on how to put things together creatively. Aside from all her talent, she is a very special woman – her dedication to her craft is something that needs to be celebrated!”
“I want see more! The video and the first pictures we get to see month after month make me still feel excited about the project.”
A model’s job customarily consists of being uncommonly beautiful and showcasing the clothing, makeup, or products they are partnered with. We were so captivated by our incredible models we just had to hear how they felt about the process and FSE! Mathilde Blaceur tells us, “My experience on that shoot was awesome! Amazing crew, amazing people, a lot of talents, I would even say the best. I knew Natasha and Frank from the past, through their work and reputation in their own industries. I want to see more! The video and the first pictures we get to see month after month make me still feel excited about the project.”
Joanna Rossa is the striking model featured individually all over FSE’s social media platforms. She had a lot to say about the experience telling us, “modelling for the FSE commercial shoot was a unique experience of working with people full of passion and extraordinary imagination. The Extravaganza Collection brings fashion to the next level, broadens up horizons and opens up opportunities in the world of fashion. It is a precursor of the next level of perceiving sublime trends of high-end fashion. This one-of-a-kind experience working with the FSE crew was incredibly exclusive. […] The collection which I modelled in was breathtaking and out of ordinary, making me feel polished as a model and intrigued as a woman.
“When people come together around common vision, magic happens, and we see and feel the rhythm of final creation.”
Finally, no video or photoshoot is complete without an extraordinary stylist. FSE’s preliminary project was no exception, bringing to the team Dana Kalinowski. Dana gives us her thoughts on working with Marie Copps and the FSE team, “I always admired her creativity and how magical her work was. When we first spoke about FSE, I couldn’t be more thrilled for her. She is such a visionary leader and the brilliance behind this unique concept was so inspiring. The idea to create live fashion theatre is something extraordinary. Fresh, artistic expression for us, as artist, but for an audience to experience it through our eyes. I was humbled and thrilled at this same time when asked to join the team of visionaries! When people come together around common vision, magic happens, and we see and feel the rhythm of final creation.”
